"Hello Beautiful People, my name is Talese : )"

Talese Brown is a rising senior at the University of Hartford, pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music Theatre. Previously, she attended Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School for the Performing Arts, where she was trained to sing in different languages of classical voice.

Her well-planned and organized manner enables her to excel academically with a

GPA of 3.7, and also contributes to her leadership skills. Talese has been trained as a peer educator regarding Title IX laws, served for 2 years as a STRIDE peer mentor to guide and support first-year students of color, and as an orientation committee member for UHart. Talese's heightened call to leadership and advocacy has increased her love and devotion for helping others.

Talese enjoys writing and reading in her free time, while also valuing the simple things in life. Whether it is spending time with family or taking sunrise pictures during her morning travels, the simple beauties of life bring her peace.

FUN FACTS:  I played clarinet for 6 six years. I am a pet mom to an orange cat & 2 turtles.
